THE CAMPUS
The college established by Mary Kanagam Memorial Educational Trust is situated in the rural serene atmosphere of area 190.5cents surrounded by the beautiful and inspiring mountains at Kanuvai. The college is a co-educational college offering specialization in Intellectual Disability in the B.Ed Programme with regular Teaching Subjects.
LABORATORIES
The college has full-fledged, state of the art laboratories for Physical sciences, Biological sciences, Computer sciences, Therapy and Psychology. Apart from these, a language Laboratory has also been commissioned to enable not only the student teachers of English but everyone to gain effective competence in the use of English language. The educational lab has all latest equipments required to demonstrate the preparation and use of multimedia aids in effective classroom teaching.
AUDIO VISUAL EDUCATION
The students acquire proficiency in the use of various Audio-Visual Educational Equipments like the Epidiascope, Overhead Projector, LCD Projection systems etc. Exhaustive training is given to the student in the preparation of various AV Aids like charts, models, film strips, slides, OHP transparencies, Power Point Presentation and LCD presentation. Apart from these, they are given adequate Computer Aided Instructional Material (CAI) and Programmed Learning Materials (PLM).
